Fiserv online payment services for Union Savings Bank clients
According to the latest reports from Fiserv VISION, a business unit of Fiserv, Inc., a leading provider of information technology services to the financial industry, Union Savings Bank, a $1.7 billion bank headquartered in Danbury, Conn., introduced an improved online banking service leveraging Corillian Consumer Advantage™ and CheckFree Web RXP™ from Fiserv's Internet Banking and Electronic Payments Division. In early 2007 Corillian was purchased by CheckFree while later that year Fiserv acquired CheckFree.

Enhancing its online banking service was long ago planned by Union Savings Bank which wanted to partner with a system that could provide industry-leading online banking and bill pay services in a more tightly integrated, hosted environment. With Corillian Consumer Advantage's online banking best practices in a hosted environment Union Savings Bank has the advantages of a sophisticated solution without excessive costs and high investments related to operating such solution on their own.

Thus, with a fully featured online banking and bill payment service Union Savings Bank can offer its customers the same conveniences online as those offered by larger institutions, with the advantage of personal local relationship.
