Alibaba and Softbank has built a bridge between China and Japan

Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba and Japanese Internet giant Softbank have announced the launch of business-to-business service to provide Chinese consumers with an opportunity to get the production of Japanese firms.

At a joint press conference with Softbank president Masayoshi Son, Jack Ma, CEO Alibaba said that China is now a global production center but in a decade it will become a huge consumer market.

"This is a really important strategic movement. I think the potential is big," continued Jack Ma.

Alibaba has already helped 50,000 suppliers in China to find Japanese wholesale buyers. The new service is to provide Japanese goods to Chinese wholesalers.
