New opportunities for mobile commerce
In order to satisfy rapidly growing demand of customers the telecommunications sector today has to develop more and more technology tools.

So Symsure Jamaica came up with a notch in mobile technology that range from personal data assistants (PDAs)/ cellphones to interactive touch screen experiences, and the 3G technology.
As Kevin Moore, chief software architect at Symsure Jamaica notes it is planned to make cellphones drive the world of commerce through the emergence of mobile commerce. Today more people are interested in m commerce possibilities and are more likely to opt for BlackBerry PDAs and interactive touch screen mobile devices that assist not only in actual transaction but may also be very helpful in advertising, pre-sale promotion and post-sale activities.
Cellphones and their mobile possibilities become very popular among retailers worldwide because they help consumers shop smarter and more efficiently.

Kevin Moore also explains that new mobile technologies will develop the "payment gateways" service that provides an interface between the merchant's point-of-sale system and the payment system.

Today m commerce has evolved from buying end selling of goods and services through wireless hand-held devices to buying and selling of services with the aid of interactive devices.
And this process will continue to grow.
