Luup powered m-payments for NBAD account holders
In the UAE a new SMS based payment service was recently introduced by the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD). With NBAD Arrow service powered by Luup, a world leader in the mobile payment industry, users will be able to access their bank accounts via mobile phones to pay, send, and receive money round the clock.

Customers having their accounts with NBAD can use their mobile phones to instantly and securely make a wide range of payments and money transfers via the NBAD Arrow service. As reported by the companies initially users will be allowed to v in case a recipient is a NBAD Arrow service user too, the money will be credited to his/her bank account, otherwise the amount can be withdrawn from any NBAD ATM within 24 hours by using a code received via SMS.

As an additional feature Arrow users will be provided the option to pay their utility bills to such companies as Etisalat, DEWA, ADWEA and other suppliers, as well as donate to charities like the UAE Red Crescent.
