Delhi police advises to use plastic or e-money
Recent several incidents of large amounts of cash being robbed made New Delhi police ask people to resort to electronic transactions instead of carrying large amounts of cash.
As senior police official commented, innovative technology, credit cards, electronic transaction and e-payment systems provide security and safety to the clients. And in order to be safe it is highly recommended to use credit cards or electronic transactions for transferring huge amount of money.

The latest incident of violent robbery reported from Chandni Chowk on Saturday proved it when a businessman was shot at by motorcycle-borne men who fled with his beg.
It is known that people coming out of the banks become targets, so police advises not to carry huge amount of money while being alone. It is also recommended not to discuss transaction or carriage with strangers.

Police has also advised banks to install CCTVs to monitor suspicious persons in and around banks besides installing alarm systems.

And the citizens have been asked to maintain secrecy regarding cash, use own transport to carry the money and if possible, travel with an armed security guard.
