Doha Bank launched its e-commerce portal "DBankSooq"

Doha Bank has just launched its own e-commerce portal www.DBankSooq.com, developed by LINK Development. This portal is devoted to both Business to Consumers (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) transactions. The "Sooq" is the first bi-lingual (Arabic and English) Business Exchange portal in Qatar. It is aiming to improve E-Commerce in the Gulf at large. 

Online marketplace is welcomed by customers in Qatar because it is more comfortable to purchase goods online against payments by debiting their Dona Bank account or through credit cards. Through portal www.DBankSooq.com they can get the purchased items delivered anywhere in Qatar and Dubai. 

According to Mr. Seetharaman, CEO, Doha Bank, the Sooq concerns to integrate the entire array of e-banking and e-commerce services of Doha Bank and to create a new business opportunity for merchants in Qatar and Dubai. Also LINK Development, the leading software subsidiary of LINKdotNET, will help the Bank to expand into new business areas.
