Executive appointments at Global Payments

[img_assist|nid=8631|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=37]A number of staff alterations were introduced recently by the Global Payments Inc., a leading provider of electronic transaction processing services for consumers, merchants, Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), financial institutions, government agencies, gaming establishments, and multi-national corporations. Paul R. Garcia, Chairman and CEO of Global Payments, announced this week about new appointments.

James G. Kelly, currently the company's Sr. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Payments Inc. Joseph C. Hyde, currently the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will hold the position of President - International and oversee the company's businesses outside of North America, including those in Europe, Russia and Asia, and will report to Mr. Kelly. David E. Mangum will occupy the seat of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Global Payments. Carl J. Williams, President - International, will be transitioning from his current position throughout fiscal year 2009.

Global Payments Inc. serves its customers throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. The company offers a complete pack of processing solutions for credit and debit cards, business-to-business purchasing cards, gift cards, electronic check conversion and check guarantee, verification and recovery including electronic check services, as well as terminal management. Besides, Global Payments allows money transfer services from the U.S. and Europe to destinations in Latin America, Morocco, and the Philippines.
