Mobile financial platform provider mFoundry has partnered with mobile financial services supplier Affinity Mobile to deliver mobile wallet services to prepaid and underbanked markets during the third quarter of 2008. The agreement entails a combination between Affinity Mobile’s MADE system and mFoundry’s Spotlight Financial Platform software to create the mobile financial services for US and international markets that will be adopted by mobile operators, financial institutions and consumers. The initiative targets 75 percent of the global population that has no access to traditional financial services.

mFoundry's platform allows for mobile banking, payments, coupons, loyalty, contactless services and any transaction type, while Affinity Mobile will provide international money transfers, airtime top-ups, access prepaid debit accounts, bill pay and other services.
