If you have a website: when more content is good and when less is better?

Matt Cutts posted new video footage at Google Webmaster Central where he answered the question of a user: “More or less content on a homepage?”

“You can have too much,” says Cutts. “So I wouldn’t have a homepage that has 20MB. You know, that takes a long time to download, and users who are on a dial-up or a modem, a slow connection, they’ll get angry at you.”

Hi-Tech didn’t oust reading, texts today are more important than 30 years ago

While many people today are inclined to think that the technological progress which gave birth to such things as YouTube, videogames, cable TV and iPods resulted in that the humanity is degrading when it comes to reading in fact the modern researches show the contrary.

A study conducted by the University of San Diego and other research universities found that people today are reading far more words than we used to as we adopt new technologies.
