Mobile commerce won’t develop because of credit cards

According to recent findings by Retrevo while the number of customers who make purchases with their mobile phones increased over the past months most of them are still wary of participating in mobile commerce due to risks related to the use of credit cards. In particular the survey shows that:

- Mobile shoppers seem to have doubled since February - In a February 2010 Retrevo Study, almost 10% of people indicated they had purchased something using their cell phone. Today, that number has doubled.

Social networking websites interrupt the life of Americans

According to a Retrevo Inc’s survey of 1,000 Americans, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter are occupying more and more of users' time, making users more and more addicted to a social media.


As Andrew Eisner, Retrevo's director of Community and Content pointed out that many people appear to be obsessed with trading information with their friends, family and co-workers.
