Another version of a full key pad for the iPhones and iPads has been developed by Compuexpert. The company unveiled its WOW-Keys for Apple devices.

Unlike other such keyboards that have small sizes and make it inconvenient to type texts WOW-Keys features full-size buttons most suitable for desktop PCs.

Being for a long time a manufacturer of batteries and recorded media Maxell decided to enter other markets to boost its revenue as physical media is declining. Thus, the first step to new horizons is its new Ergomotion line the company unveiled last week. In New York, Maxell debuted its laser and optical mice as well as its ergonomic keyboard, which as the company believes are designed to improve motion experience.

Acer Aspire Ethos series: more touch screens, less touchpads

This week Acer announced its new Aspire Ethos laptops which will incorporate a secondary touch screen that doubles as a touchpad to help navigate multimedia content. Additional touch screen is placed under the keyboard where a touchpad would normally sit.

The second touch screen can display icons that make it easier for users to navigate through movies or music, said Alison Williams, an Acer spokeswoman. The screen will also allow users to do things like adjust the volume or sort through images.

Ion Audio, that manufactures USB turntables and cassette decks, has announced the introduction of its new Qwerty keyboard add on for the iPhone. The iType is about a full size board with a space in which to sit the handset in landscape mode.

The phone’s power won’t be drained as the iType keyboard has its own battery. Moreover, it can charge the handset as it connects to the iPhone's docking port.
