Firefox 3.6

Users who were too enthusiastic about getting the latest version of Mozilla Firefox browser were tricked by adware slingers who directed them to the fake website to download bogus software.

The bogus website looks like a kosher browser download site and might easily fool the unwary. Still, aware users know that Mozilla recently released 3.6 version of its popular browser while the counterfeit resource offers Firefox 3.5.

Mozilla has at last introduced its latest version of the popular Internet browser Firefox. The version 3.6 of the browser is said to be 20% faster than its predecessor Firefox 3.5. Among the new functions featuring the latest version of Firefox are the following:

• Personas: Personalize the look of your Firefox by selecting new themes called Personas in a single click and without a restart

• Plugin Updater: To keep you safe from potential security vulnerabilities, Firefox will now detect out of date plugins
