ePassporte finally says "good bye". Funds can be withdrawn through ATMs

One more online payment system has disappeared due to the efforts of the third party. This time the e-commerce society said good bye to ePassporte payment system which was closed due to ‘circumstances beyond their control.’

On October 5,2010 all ePassporte account holders received the following message from the company:

Dear ePassporte Account Holders,

It is with great regret we inform you that ePassporte must close its doors due to a lack of revenue and circumstances beyond our control.

Webmasters across the globe along with other users are expressing their woes on the Internet over the recent ban imposed by Visa on ePassporte debit cards. For a significant period of time users of the popular ecurrency system have withdrawn their funds to the Visa branded ePassporte debit card and after that they could use it at locations with Visa logo and withdraw cash at corresponding ATMs.
