PayPal makes an investment of €15 million into The Next PayPal

According to the latest speculations on the Internet PayPal is investing into the payment provider called as “The Next PayPal.” A reliable source, cited by the TechCrunch blog reports that e-invoicing company, TradeShift has just secured between €12 to €15 million from PayPal ($16 to $21 million dollars). The deal, the source says, was done quietly, with PayPal doling out the euros in the form of a loan for TradeShift.

Barclaycard trials e-invoicing service with KashFlow

A UK major card network Barclaycard has entered into a partnership with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) accounting firm KashFlow to pilot an e-invoicing service for merchants. According to the reports of TechCrunch, Barclaycard is running the pilot test with 100 merchants so as to trial the KasFlow-based system for creating, sending and managing invoices through a Web browser.

Apart from this functionality participants will also be able to track late transactions and receive payments via the Barclaycard gateway, for which the firm charges a three per cent fee.
