Billing Revolution

Citi Ventures, a unit of Citigroup, has invested in Billing Revolution, a mobile payments provider. Last year Citi Ventures sponsored Billing Revolution’s Single-Click Checkout, a cross-platform, low-friction mobile billing service.

A provider of mobile payments Billing Revolution announced its $6.6 million in Series B funding, led by global venture capital firm, DCM, and returning founding investor, SK Telecom Ventures.

Billing Revolution allows mobile users to buy digital and physical items across all mobile operating systems with a single click, solving an important pain point and adding ease of use for consumers in mobile payments.

Billing Revolution announced that Citi is its major sponsor for the proprietary Single-Click Checkout service, a mobile app designed to process credit card transactions in-app or on mobile web sites. Via the Single-Click Checkout customers can make credit card purchases with their mobile devices from any web- or mobile-based merchant without entering a user name and password.

 PapayaMobile, an open, mobile social network for Android, has announced to partner Zong, Billing Revolution, and Adknowledge's Super Rewards to offer the most complete and effective monetization solution for Android developers. As a result of these key partnership agreements, PapayaMobile now enables in-app purchases, support for various billing options and integration of advertising offers from Super Rewards.

PapayaMobile mainly focuses on casual gaming and virtual currency.

 Billing Revolution, a mobile payments company, has established a relationship with Retail Data Systems, a provider of point-of-sale hardware and software in North America, to provide mobile commerce opportunities to Retail Data Systems customers.
