Network Pay. A network of payment options

September 22, 2008 - 5:14pm | author: ayny | |

Network Pay, a payment system that allows anyone with an email address to easily and securely accept and send money online was established at the beginning of 2003. It is operated by Network Payment Systems, Inc. (a Nevada Corporation) which has its offices in Las Vegas, Nevada. The registration certificate can be found on the website of Nevada Secretary of State.

Both individual and business customers can create an account with Network Pay. Individuals can use it for sending and receiving funds by means of credit cards or bank accounts, purchasing products and services at any of the partnering websites and paying online auctions via a secure payment system backed by the U.S. Dollar.

Businesses are offered two courses. They can either open Network Pay Standard Account or Network Pay Plus Account. Network Pay allows merchants to create Pay Now buttons and accept credit card and eCheck payments from their website or by email, it helps them to sell digital goods such as software, sharewares, eBooks, digital art, information and data. Network Pay is fully integrated with Cpanel/WHM. Web hosting accounts are created instantly and securely, without needing a separate script to use and install. Network Pay offers to bill clients for businesses automatically such on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis, or as a company needs it to be. For new sellers Network Pay offers an easy to use JavaScript based shopping cart with multiple products to sell online. Network Pay lets businesses create auction buttons and accept donations made to the merchant’s account.

Account features

Individual accounts

The registration procedure for individuals takes nearly ten minutes. At first you select the type of the account and specify the country of your lining. Then if you selected a personal account, you should fill in the form that requires submitting the information about your personality, address, telephone number, email and so on. At the bottom of the form you should specify the password and the PIN you will use for logging in and for transactions respectively. In case of a successful registration a confirmative email is sent to the address you entered in the form. With a click on a link provided in the message you verify your email address. After that you may enter the setting section and set up your preferences. For instance you can mark those payment methods that you want to receive from others – either credit card, or eCheck, or from account balance. You may select only one of them or mark all the methods.

In order to send money to a recipient you just need to use the recipient’s email address with the amount specified in the electronic form that is generated on clicking the “Send” button. The recipients will be notified by email with instructions on how to collect their funds.

Using Network Pay's Request Money tool you can request money from a person or a group. Money can be requested from anyone even if they don’t have an account with Network Pay.

Money can be deposited into your account via these methods: money orders or cashier's checks, bank wire transfers, credit cards or bank cards, E-Gold.

For money withdrawal Network Pay offers mailing you a company check, a money order, bank wire transfer and Western Union.

Merchant account

Network Pay Standard Account

The Network Pay Standard account is a default account that you get when you first sign up. You have the option of getting a "Personal" or "Business" account depending on your reasoning for having the account. There is no setup fee, monthly fee or annual storage fee ever applied to your account. You have the ability to receive payments from other funded Network Pay accounts. These accounts could have been previously funded with money orders, bank transfers, credit cards, cashiers checks, etc.

With the Network Pay Standard Account, you have the ability to decide what type of payments you will allow and where the funds originated. This is suitable for a small business owner who wants a low risk solution and needs to control his/her market. You can accept or refuse credit card deposit transactions, eCheck deposits, non-US users and more depending on your desires. Funds can be withdrawn from your account at any time by eCheck, money order, wire transfer and several other options depending on your location and how fast you need it.

Network Pay Plus Account

The Network Pay Plus account provides you with more capabilities of a true merchant account at a much lesser cost. In addition to all the capabilities of the Network Pay Standard Account, the Network Pay Plus Account provides:

•    The ability to accept credit cards from non-members through an "instant pay" button
•    The ability to take fax or telephone orders using credit cards direct to your Network Pay account
•    Increasing credit line limits based on your volume and length of membership
•    Telephone verification of all credit card orders to reduce fraud
•    The ability to control the level of risk you accept on transactions for your business
•    Low fees - Less than 4% per transaction for the business owner and FREE for the Buyer

The basic requirements for the upgrade to your Network Pay account are as follows:

•    You must be a verified member (Email Address, Physical Address and Credit Card)
•    You must be registered as a "Business" account and NOT a "Personal" account
•    You must provide a copy of your business incorporation certificate or license from your local government authority
•    You must have a website and provide the URL - the URL must be registered to you or your business
•    You must agree to a one-time $25 USD setup fee and a $15 USD per month subscription to maintain the account
•    You must stay within your set monthly credit limit ($1000, $2500, $5000, $10,000, etc.)
•    You must complete the online application provided and agree to the terms

Security and fee scheme

Browser Encryption

Network Pay requires the use of a 128-bit secure browser to login to your account and perform transactions. Netscape Navigator®, Netscape Communicator®, and Microsoft® Internet Explorer are all secure browsers. If you are not using one of these browsers, or feel your browser does not meet the security requirements of NetworkPay.com, you can use one of the links provided on the webpage to download an upgraded browser.

Secure browsers employ secure sockets layer (SSL) technology to communicate with servers. This technology encrypts—or scrambles—the communication (ie. your account information) so it's virtually impossible for anyone other than Network Pay or it’s affiliates to read it.

Network Pay encrypts its databases that contain your personal data, passwords and credit/debit cards as well as bank account information. Certain pages require outputting the last 3 or 4 numbers of your financial information. These pages require a key to decrypt them to usable format. The key used is encrypted and is kept away from the www directory for further protection.

To help determine whether an email originated from Network Pay the company includes a footer in most of the email sent. This footer contains your account's email address and a randomly generated code 15-30 characters long which may contain both letters and numbers. You may check whether this is valid by entering the email address you received and the randomly generated code.

Network Pay will never ask for your password or any financial information.

In addition Network Pay has a free Watchman service. Watchman is an optional security sentinel that is enabled on each Network Pay account by default. Watchman checks for your IP address and/or browser information to verify that you are the owner of this account each time you login. If a change in either your IP address or browser has been detected and Watchman has been activated, an email will be sent to your email of record with a 7-15 digit security code. This code must be entered in the specified place on the Network Pay website before you can continue. This feature can be turned on or off at the members discretion.

Fees

The advantages of any system can be described endlessly especially in light of the fact that any business strives for gaining more customers and capitalizing on them. The fee section is the most interesting aspect with the services and products we purchase as just a single little phrase containing numbers can spoil all the impression we have recently got of a long narration about all the charming benefits available with a subject of sale. > Hello Everyone:
>
> This update is just to reiterate some previous points that have been made
> and are being ignored by some members.
>
> FIRST.............Payout Requests: we are still receiving many incorrect
> withdrawl requests. The largest growing number of incorrect requests is
> coming from people who only have transfers made to their account but have
> made NO EXTERNAL DEPOSITS to their P2P Accounts. If you expect to receive
> your payout, you MUST make a deposit from STP and/or AlertPay PRIOR to
> requesting your payout !! If you dont, your request will be cancelled, your
> funds returned to your account balance and then you will have to re-request
> and go to the back of the line.
> Other members are still entering incorrect info. in their payout
> request......incorrect STP Username or AP Email Address !! PLEASE enter the
> correct amount, select the CORRECT Processor, and either your STP Username
> or AP Email Address(depending on which processor you have selected). We
> cannot make the RED FONT on the payout request page any bigger or more
> accurate that it already is. Get it right, or you to will have to go to the
> back of the line and re-request.
>
> SECOND..........External Forums: recently, some accounts were suspended for
> bashing P2P or for providing the updates from the private forum in other
> external forums. If you are caught, Paul will show no mercy in these
> particular cases. The Private Forum and P2P Chat Room are the only
> sanctioned areas for discussing P2P and for providing updates! ......period
> !
>
> THIRD...........Account Activity: We have also come across a few members who
> at one time made an investment, which gives them access to the private
> forum, and once this investment has completed, they have not carried on by
> making subsequent investments. This is fine if they wish to cashout and
> cancel their accounts, however, these few individuals continue to log-in
> daily inorder to access the private forum, take posts/updates to post them
> elsewhere, and generally are just hanging around to get info. to post
> elsewhere. All accounts being monitored for such activity, and when found
> out, these people will have their accounts suspended. If you have a rational
> reason for keeping your account open, yet have discontinued participating it
> would be best for you to come to us first so we can note your accounts with
> the reason........if we come to you, the result will be a suspension for
> life.
>
> Finally, I will have some news on Energy Ltd. shortly, so congrats to those
> who received payments today, and everyone have a great week !!!
