EPAY, choose your option to make a payment
This time we decided to write an article on an online payment gateway with a wide spread brand used today by many payment platforms. To mark out the company out of others with the similar name it was labeled as epayarea.com. Thus if you want to find EPAY company that will be further discussed here you should assign this very address.

The company is registered in Panama which is no wonder as nowadays it is very common to make official registration of a business in offshore countries especially taking into consideration rather low fees charged for it. However along with obvious cost-effectiveness in favor of EPAY there are surely some advantages to the benefit of consumers. In light of the character of Panama legislation EPAY as well as other numerous financial institutions registered there can claim that the users’ accounts will never be blocked unless on decree of Panama court.

As of September 2008 (the statistics reported by the company) EPAY had 28,484 active users, 330,605 visitors and 86,742 transactions with circulation of $2,338,298.75.

With the help of Alexa, whois and websiteoutlook we learn that EPAY’s reach covers 0,001%of global Internet users with an 85% increase every quarter. Most users are from Nigeria with 21.9%, followed by India with 15.9%, the United States with 9.5%, the UK with 3.7% and others. The traffic rank as of October 27, 2008 is 145,818. Websiteoutlook estimates the site worth $17,782.8.

The site is hosted in the US. While the company, as we already noticed, has a legal address at Ricardo J. Alfaro Avenue, Sun Tower Mall Building, Office #39, El Dorado, Bethania, Panama the real location of the brick-and-mortar office itself is unknown. One former user of EPAY who was injured by fraudulent operations with his funds allegedly made by EPAY states that there is no office at the address specified; there is no even a post-box of the company in Panama. Well, the only thing we can say that there is no sufficient information on the Internet on both the headquarters of EPAY and its executive staff. Maybe in the near future we will be able to interview one of their managers.

The course of EPAY is designated by the subscript in the bottom line of the company site where they mention Panama registration. There we read that EPAY was licensed by the Ministry of Finance to conduct financial services, e-wallet services, money transfer services, electronic payments processing, selling and funding debit cards, virtual credit cards and other related activities.

EPAY has two title notes: EPAY dollar and EPAY euro. Registered members can buy (fund) and sell (withdraw) these units using online payment options provided by EPAY. EPAY eliminates the need for calculating current exchange rates charging no fee related to currency fluctuation.

EPAY claims that the funds of its users are accumulated and stored but it is not a bank hence it doesn’t invest members’ money. Besides, EPAY says that digital units of account holders are 100% backed by an equal or greater amount in USD and EUR.

[img_assist|nid=10882|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=640|height=464]When you open the main page of EPAY you can see a very nice design with excessive, to some extend information blocks. Everything you need to know and to go about the system is placed in the upper bar but the authors decided that it would be better to make separate leaders over the entire area of the site. Thus the information on debit cards, mobile services and e-mail payments can be found both in the upper toolbar and in the right corner.

Well, let us observe the list of the services offered by Panama registered and USA-based (see below) online money transfer provider called EPAY. In the list we can see funding services, withdrawal, money transfer services, SMS services, e-mail services and payment cards.
We should acknowledge that the range of options and opportunities available with EPAY is significantly wide.

[img_assist|nid=10883|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=640|height=464]EPAY allows its users to fund their accounts via bank transfer, Visa or MasterCard cards, IBAN payments or from other EPAY account. The same is relevant to withdrawal: you can get your funds back through bank transfers, IBAN payments, and other EPAY accounts.

In the SMS services directory we can find such offerings as ‘Send SMS’ that enables users to send messages to any mobile phone in more than 180 countries worldwide (up to 150 characters in more than 550+ networks); send mobile phone payments to anyone (EPAY member/non-member) worldwide, check balance, generate invoices and make payment for SMS invoices.

Customers can send or receive payments via e-mail. E-mail payments can be made both to EPAY or non-EPAY members in any country. Besides, via email users can generate and send invoices free of charge. If an invoice was sent to non-EPAY user and he/she chooses to join the service the sender will earn a 10% commission. By entering an invoice number and a digital signature a user can make instant payment for his/her invoice.
