Until the moment when LibertyReserve started thinking of its publicity the only thing the users knew about LR was that the system operated long enough and that had already changed several offshore shelter. Probably when the company changes its headquarter it manages to leave all the balances and multi-level money laundries in each offshore however the system fails to get rid of the reputation gained by its founders and owners. Fake hyperlinks to ‘secure. uninitialized. real.error.com’ were sent by PayPal online payment service to its customers to confirm recent payments in the course of a significant period of time, reports the Register. The link was advertised as the official address to log in to the service. The mishmash was a result of an internal PayPal error that was fixed on Tuesday as reported by Michael Oldenburg, a spokesman for PayPal parent company eBay.

The three directors of E-Gold, in addition to its Gold & Silver Reserve parent company, indicted in April 2007 of being a haven for criminal activity like processing investment scams and payments for child pornography on Thursday received their sentences. A federal judge decided on Thursday not to impose a prison sentence on the senior directors of E-Gold.
