Domain names trading industry looks like becoming the new real estate market, even though is one for virtual spaces. But here also appear speculators that make "big pots" with a well-placed investment and mostly using unmoral practices. Xavier Buck had in mind to spend 100,000$ on buying domain names at an auction held last month at Hollywood. He overspend his limit in less than an hour. When the auction' s three hours passed, Buck, CEO of the EuroDNSS company, located in Luxembourg, spent over 150,000$ for 15 tempting domain names, like "7th.com", "chaptereleven.com", "microfinancing.com" and "computersystems.com". "Names like these will double the investment in less than two years", says Buck. "The world just starts to discover how important is to have properties like these". Buck and other business man gain money when unexperienced users wrong-type the respective web address in they're browsers and once they get there they click the ads from that websites. On long term, investors hope to resell the domains with big profits to large companies that want to start serious business on that addresses. Site-owners like these have a bad reputation in general. This kind of commerce doesn't need hard work , like starting a real business on the net, just a starting capital and hope that users will click the ads. In the first years, the market was dominated by offshore investors and secret tactics, even illegal ones. But serious money keep coming year after year. Last year, 106 websites attracted more than 100,000 $ each, and one of them, "porn.com" sold for almost 9,5 million dollars!. In 2006 only 70 domains were sold for more than 1 million dollars. Millions of generic website names, containing just ads from Google and Yahoo! made lot of millions last year. There are a lot of investing funds that invested almost 400 million dollars in this market, trusting the fact that this will be a very profitable market. They even think of listing these companies at Nasdaq. So for the next two years, while the market is at the beginning, anyone can start a business like this. I mean a 10-50000 $ profit a month from home is good, no?
