While creating a hyip website and being a hyip owner can make you huge amount of money online, you still can be exposed to some difficulties and face some challenges or obstacles. Here are five nightmares that you may face as a hyip owner.
1. Hyip owner is being blackmailed
Being blackmailed is the first nightmare that the hyip owner will face when he runs a hyip. The hyip owner will receive blackmail from unknown resource forcing him to accept his offer. The blackmailer will offer the hyip owner to purchase a list containing thousands of emails of people who involve in hyip industry. This email list is a collection of former members’ emails from former scam hyips. The hyip owner must purchase this email list for a $50 and sometimes even more expensive. If the hyip owner turns down the offer, the blackmailer threatens to spam every email on the list with the hyip’s site address on message body, so that those who receive spam will report about the hyip and the hyip hosting provider will receive thousands of spam complaints. Then the hosting provider will shut down the hyip website.
Sometimes blackmailer will force the hyip owner to purchase his service. His service is making fake positive votes on the monitors and fake paid posts on the hyip related public forums. The blackmailer will charge for $150 or higher for this kind of ‘service’. However, if the hyip admin refuses to accept his offer, the blackmailer threaten to make the opposite action which is making fake negative votes on the monitors and fake scam posts on the hyip related public forums.
2. Hyip website is being under DDoS attacked
DDoS attack is the next nightmare that the hyip owner will face when he operates a hyip website. When a hyip website is under DDoS attack definitely the website will go down and offline. So, when the existing members see the website is offline they will panic and think the hyip turns to scam and spread out the words about it within hyip community. As a result, people will stay away from that hyip and the hyip owner will lose more future potential members due to this unexpected down time.
There is a huge conspiracy theory that the people who DDoS hyip websites are also the same people or companies who then come forward and offer protection from such DDoS attacks. However, there is still no solid evidence for this theory and maybe it is just a rumor. And sometimes, it is cause by a blackmailer who demands for money and if the hyip owner refuses to pay him, he will proceed with this DDoS attack.
The owner of hyip website which is under DDoS attack may tries to change to another hosting company, but by changing the hosting does not help much. The hyip owner must prevent this DDoS attack at first place by installing a DDoS attack protection and hosted the website on a dedicated server.
3. Hyip website is being hacked
The third nightmare for any hyip owner is when the website is being hacked. If your hyip website getting hacked it could make your website being infected with a variety type of malware. Your hyip script may be disrupted and the databases can be messed up. The hacker can change any details, files, MySQL, and any set ups as he wants for his own benefit. He also can change the members’ e-currency accounts number to his so that when the hyip owner make pay outs, it will go to his e-currency account without we realize it.
Other damages or ‘disturbance’ the hacker might make are he can mess up sensitive information and gain control of hyip website for whatever purpose. He can edited, deleted or uploaded any files on hyip web server. He also can install any virus to disrupt the website and affect the hyip owner’s computer, and other damages.
This hacking problem can certainly harm your hyip. It can spoil your hyip reputation specifically and your integrity as a whole. Your hyip could lose money if the hacker transfers the fund to his account without your consent and as a result your hyip does not have enough funds to continue making pay outs.
4. E-currency accounts are being blocked
Next nightmare for the owner of hyip is when the hyip’s e-currency accounts being blocked by the e-currency payment processors. So the owner of hyip could get his hyip e-currency account blocked on false evidence out of malice or mischief and would get an hyip e-currency account blocked just because they think that the hyip might be a scam. Maybe some people with their own agendas make false report of being scammed by your hyip and as a result your hyip’s e-currency account is blocked.
So, if your hyip e-currency account is blocked you can not receive any new incoming funds. If your hyip stop receiving more funds, then your hyip will be in big trouble as it is hard for you to ‘rotate’ the existing funds and continue making pay outs. Your hyip will be labeled as scam and you may have to end up your hyip faster than your earlier plan.
You have to solve this issue by contacting the e-currency payment processors, do as they instruct you to do, and wait for them to unblock your hyip e-currency accounts. During e-gold time a few years back, the members who were accepting funds from hyip’s e-gold blocked accounts may result in a block of their accounts too.
5. When people are conducting due diligence on you and your hyip
This may sound uncommon, but whether you realize or not, when people conduct research and due diligence on the hyip, it could give a nightmare to the owner. People will check the information about the hyip owner, they will try to call the phone number being displayed if any, check on the existence of address, asking for the hyip owner’s identification, and so forth. As a hyip owner, he is torn in between as whether to tell the truth or lie or even tries to make up answers. If he tells the truth people will know he is going to scam them sooner or later, and if he tells lie still some people will know his hyip will soon vanish from the internet.
